Unique Onboarding System

Signing up doesn't grant access on its own. New accounts land in a pending queue instead of an inbox, where a unit officer of CDTWO2 rank or above reviews each one before it goes live. The officer can link the registration to an existing cadet record or create a new one, then sets their rank and platoon before the account is approved. Nobody assigns themselves a rank, and nobody gets in without a review.

Merit Logging

Recording a merit or a demerit is the same form with a single toggle. A unit member picks the cadet, chooses whether the entry is a merit or a demerit, and writes a short reason before submitting. Every mark against a cadet's name, positive or negative, goes through the same required context, so the record stays consistent no matter who's logging it.

Assessments

Assessing a cadet against LAI-INS-17 (Army Cadet Instructor standards) happens on a single live scoring screen. The assessor sets up the candidate, date, attempt, and any reasonable adjustment at the top, then scores each criterion as they go. The running total and scored count both update the moment a score is selected, so there's no separate step to tally or save the result.

Cadet Management Admin Panel

Every cadet's account status lives in one table instead of being split across systems. Rank, platoon, login status, and active or inactive state all sit in the same row, so it's clear at a glance who's linked, who's never logged in, and who's been deactivated. Deactivating an account never deletes the underlying record, and re-linking a cadet later keeps the old row visible so there's still an audit trail.

Built for Mobile

The dashboard, cadet list, log entry, and assessment screens all work the same way on a phone as they do on a laptop. An officer standing on the parade ground can approve a registration, log a merit, or check a platoon's standing without finding a desk first, and the layout adapts down to a single column without losing anything.
